I love these vegan sausage patties! I dont usually make copycat recipes like this, but after I tried the beyond breakfast sausage, I had to try! It wasn’t really that hard at all. I literally made this recipe three or four times and I got as close as you can to the real thing! You gotta see for yourself!

I use Kikkoman tamari, which is made from no wheat at all. You really need to check the labels of your spices and other ingredients just to be sure. But to answer your question…. If you follow these guidelines it can be gluten free.

Use a cast iron skillet to get that good sear! This caramelization will add a nice crunch to these vegan sausage patties and intensify the flavor!

Substitutions

The flax seed and chia seed can be switched out for one another. The tamari can be traded for coconut aminos. The spices can be interchanged for whatever you like.

Using a food processor is the best way to efficiently make an even and well combined farce. Its important you use the right setting and blend in stages to get your texture right. You want to use the pulse function of your food processor.

Portioning
