Preheat oven to 350F. Then grease your cake pans with what ever fat you like to use and line the bottom with parchment.
Next, in the mixer bowl or a mixing bowl sift your dry ingredients ( Ap flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt).
Now mix the remain ingredients together and add them to the mixing bowl with dry ingredients. Mix this batter until just combined, and then don’t mix any more.
Divide the cake batter between the two pans. Be sure to tap any air bubbles out. Then bake in the oven for 30-35 minutes. Check your cake from time to time.
Once the cake is finished baking and fully cooked, take the cake out of the oven and leave in pans for 5-6 minutes at room temperature. Then remove them from the pans and let cool on a wire rack for 15 minutes. Once cool, transfer to the fridge and chill for another 10 minutes until cold.
Now the cakes are chilled, level off the tops and ice the cake with a spatula and the vegan icing.
Finally put any last minute decorations on the cake, and it is ready to eat!
